01About Resale Rack

Resale Rack is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of preloved and new items. Items listed on the site are owned and sold by individual sellers, not by Resale Rack. Our role is to provide the platform, facilitate payments and coordinate deliveries.

Resale Rack acts as the go-between for buyers and sellers. Buyers and sellers do not deal with each other directly.

02Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, buy or sell on Resale Rack.

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. Kindly let us know straight away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms or is used for fraudulent or harmful activity.

03Selling on Resale Rack

Sellers must provide accurate information when registering and listing items.

Every listing must describe the item honestly and show its true condition using our four condition grades: Brand-New, Almost-New, Gently-Used and Used. All defects, wear and tear must be shown in pictures and stated in the description.

Sellers confirm that they own every item they list and have the right to sell it.

Resale Rack may edit, decline or remove any listing that does not meet our standards or these terms.

04Prohibited items

The following may not be listed on Resale Rack:

• counterfeit or replica goods
• stolen goods
• recalled products, or car seats that have been in an accident or are past their expiry date
• perishable goods such as food and drugs
• hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases
• opened intimate or sanitary goods
• any item that is illegal to sell in Ghana

05Listing fees and service charge

Sellers can list items for free through their seller dashboard on the website, or use our paid List for You service, where our team lists items on the seller's behalf. Current List for You fees are shown on our Become a Seller page.

06Seller payouts

Seller payouts are made by mobile money or bank transfer, and are released after the 24-hour return window has closed.

Where a return or discount applies, the relevant charges are deducted from the seller's payout, as set out in our Returns and Refund Policy.

07Buying on Resale Rack

Prices are listed in Ghana cedis (GH₵). Payment must be made in full through the site before an order is processed. Payments are processed securely by Paystack.

Once an item is purchased, the sale is final unless it qualifies for a return under our Returns and Refund Policy.

08Delivery

All orders are delivered directly from seller to buyer by third-party couriers and dispatch riders. The cost of delivery is the buyer's responsibility. Full details are on our Delivery Information page.

09Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled under our Returns and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10Content and pictures

By uploading pictures and descriptions to Resale Rack, sellers confirm that the content is their own or that they have permission to use it. Sellers give Resale Rack permission to display and share this content on the site and on our social media pages to promote their listings.

All other content on the site, including our name, logo and design, belongs to Resale Rack and may not be copied without our permission.

11Conduct

Users agree not to:

• give false or misleading information
• harass, threaten or abuse other users or our team
• arrange sales outside Resale Rack for items found on the site
• interfere with the site or use it for any unlawful purpose

12Limitation of liability

Resale Rack is not the seller of items listed on the site. While we work to make sure listings are accurate, we cannot guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items, or the accuracy of seller descriptions.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Resale Rack is not liable for any indirect loss arising from the use of the site or from transactions between buyers and sellers. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ghanaian law.

13Disputes

If a problem comes up between a buyer and a seller, kindly contact us first. We will do our best to help both parties reach a fair outcome.

14Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept them.

16Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
